ANGEL LESSONS FOR ADJUNCT FACULTY
The staff of e-learning at IRSC invites and welcomes you to the ANGEL Learning Management System.
You may log on to your into your Angel account by using the same credentials that you use to access your Webmail account (without the @irsc.edu). Please be aware, this format is different than the username and password you are using for your Mariner access for online grading purposes.
Once you have successfully logged into Angel, you will have immediate access to the Instructor Fundamentals / Evergreen course as well as the Assessments / Evergreen course. The purpose of these self paced courses is to help guide you through the navigation and development of content for your online teaching and learning environment at IRSC.
This asynchronous training is designed to be "hands-on" with many opportunities to practice. In order to complete the activities of the training, you will need to have access to a training or development course within your ANGEL course list, located on your Angel home page. As the "course editor" of these courses, you will be able to "customize" the course, upload your content and put into place some "best practices" recommended in the Evergreen courses. Course materials will be loaded by the instructor and accessed by the students via the Lessons Tab in Angel. Explore your course, click on the tabs and tools, and look to the Evergreen Courses for additional instructional videos.
E-Learning offers several Hands–On–Workshops throughout each semester to accommodate the needs of instructors in all phases of course development. Various sessions may focus on specific topics such as introduction and orientation, content development, assessments, and grade book. We can also schedule department and small group training as well as one on one, when necessary.
