AWARD NOTIFICATIONS
Awards
- Award letters are mailed out approximately the first week of June each year. Awards are estimated based on the enrollment entered on the FASFA application. Awards will be adjusted to final enrollment after the add/drop period. Most awards (such as Federal Work Study, Supplemental Grants, etc…) are awarded on a first come first serve basis, therefore it is to your advantage to apply as early as possible.
- Bright Future (BF) awards are estimated and will become official after the add/drop period. Students will be notified by the State regarding their eligibility.
- The following must be adhered to before an award can be made: admission to IRSC must be complete. Students must be classified as degree seeking. Verification must be completed (if selected). Students must meet the Standards for Satisfactory Academic Progress. If all eligibility is met, financial aid funds may be disbursed.
- Your award package may be adjusted based on receipt of outside scholarships. This includes, but is not limited to, any private scholarships and/or third party tuition payment/waivers.
- If you withdraw from classes (at any time) and have registered for a special registration class that begins later in the term, your financial aid award will be recalculated based on your new enrollment and you may have
to repay funds to the Pell Grant Program.
