Positive outlook for 2012-2013

The Lady Pioneers graduated a talented group from last year’s Southern Conference Championship team. In 2013 the Lady Pioneers will be led by seven sophomores and a group of very talented freshmen.

In the circle the team will be led by returning 1st Team All-Conference pitcher Rebekha Kiser. In addition to Kiser the team has six very promising freshmen pitchers, four of which were 1st Team All State high school selections. Offensively the team returns All Conference selections Naomi Stevens, 296 batting average with 43 stolen bases and catcher Nicole Miller who hit 392 in 2012. In addition to Stevens and Miller the team is loaded with talented offensive players.

With a talented roster of players and experienced coaching staff of Ty Young and Lydia Fowler there’s plenty of enthusiasm at “The River” for the 2013 softball season!
