An Important Message about Spring Registration

Please check your RiverMail and Workday inboxes regularly for notifications about Spring Registration.

Registration for Spring Semester Open for All!

There’s still time to register for IRSC Spring 2019 classes. Students may choose from traditional, online, Saturday and evening classes at all five IRSC campuses. January 2 is the final day to register and pay for Full Term Schedule. (Those who have not paid by the January 2 deadline will be dropped and may re-register during the late registration period.)

Late registration for Full Term Schedule begins on January 3. Payment for late registrants is due on January 4.

Full Term classes begin January 7.

Express classes are open for registration through January 18 and begin on January 22.

Fees for Spring Semester are Now Posted in Workday

Complete the payment for your Spring classes by Wednesday, January 2, to avoid being dropped. Log into Workday, click on Finances, then view the amount under Due Now for payment.

Payment is also accepted in person at the Cashier’s Office on the IRSC Main Campus in Fort Pierce during regular business hours. Please note that the College is closed on weekends and during Winter Break, December 17, 2018 through January 1, 2019.

Students needing more time paying for college may enroll in the Nelnet Business Solutions Tuition Payment Plan. Payment plan benefits:

  1. Easy online enrollment
  2. Flexible payment options
  3. No interest

Students can make monthly payments automatically through their bank account or credit/debit card. There are no credit checks. There is a non-refundable enrollment fee depending on how early you enroll in the plan. For more information or to enroll in the plan click here.

Enrollment and Student Services Centers are open on each of the five IRSC campuses Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You can also call the IRSC Call Center at 772-462-4772 or toll-free at 1-866-792-4772, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Early Registration for EligibleStudents Opens Tuesday, October 30

Students selected for early registration will see their registration appointment—please note the exact DATE and TIME—in their Workday Academics worklet and may register online or with the help of an advisor at any point after their given appointment time. Students who do not have an early registration appointment will participate in general registration.

General Registration Opens Monday, November 5

All enrolled and admitted students may begin registering for Spring classes beginning Monday, November 5 at 8:00 a.m. An appointment is not required to participate in general registration.

Plan Now—Search the Course Schedule and Create a Saved Schedule

All students, regardless of registration date, may plan ahead and create a saved schedule. Here’s how:

  1. Review your Guided Pathway/Academic Plan and Degree Audit to determine what courses are needed next for program completion.
  2. Search the Course Schedule. Filter by term, campus and/or meeting days. You cannot register directly from the Course Schedule, but it is a useful tool for your academic planning.
  3. Create a saved schedule in Workday (tutorial) to avoid issues with co-requisite courses. Your saved schedule won’t guarantee your seat, but it will allow you to more quickly register for classes.

On registration day, register from your saved schedule (tutorial). The registration process is not final until you complete this step. Keep in mind that you will need to find alternatives for class sections that have filled prior to you registering.

MyPioneerPortal & Workday


What is Workday, and why are we switching from MyIRSC?

Workday will replace MyIRSC as your student information system. It is the modern successor to MyIRSC registration and student information system. Workday is cloud-based and designed with mobile devices in mind so you’ll be able to access everything, wherever and whenever needed. It is a sleeker, faster and modernized experience that better meets your needs.

How do I log into Workday?

With the Workday launch, IRSC will also be bringing you MyPioneerPortal. MyPioneerPortal is a single sign-on system that provides accessibility to IRSC student systems, all in one place. This feature will serve as your gateway to Workday, BlackBoard, RiverMail, RiverLife and other applications.

You will use your RiverMail login credentials (RiverMail email address and password) to login to MyPioneerPortal and then you will select the Workday application. If you’re unable to log into MyPioneerPortal, your password may need to be reset. Email rivermailhelp@irsc.edu with your student ID, first and last name, date of birth and Rivermail address.

Why am I required to enter a verification code each time I try to log into MyPioneerPortal?

Providing a verification code each time you access MyPioneerPortal adds an additional layer of security and protection to your personal information. You must setup two methods of additional authentication: email, text, or security questions. Email is the primary method and is required to be setup, but you can then choose your secondary method. We suggest setting up all three options with text (SMS) as the preferred method since it is the most convenient and secure.

I haven’t been a student in a long time, and I don’t remember how to logon to my Rivermail information. What should I do?

Follow the instructions to reset your RiverMail password or email rivermailhelp@irsc.edu.

I’m in MyPioneerPortal, but I don’t see any apps. Is something wrong?

MyPioneerPortal will be fully accessible to students in time for Fall registration. At that time, MyPioneerPortal will display all of the applications that you will use while at IRSC— Workday, BlackBoard, RiverMail, RiverLife and more.

I’m in Workday, but a lot of my information from MyIRSC isn’t there. What happened to it?

Your Workday inbox will be the only option available at this time. Advising, registration and other records will become visible as they are loaded into Workday.
