Choose the Degree that's right for you! Associate Degrees — The Associate in Science (A.S.) and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree programs are designed for students wishing to develop technical skills with emphasis on middle management employment opportunities. The two-year college degree programs focus on high-technology careers and prepare students to compete effectively in the contemporary job market.
Technical Certificate/Applied Technology Diploma — A Technical Certificate/Applied Technology Diploma is awarded to a student who has completed the required number of college credit hours of an A.S./A.A.S. Degree program with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. It is designed to prepare the student to obtain employment as a skilled worker after one year of full-time study. Students may then complete the remaining requirements for the A.S./A.A.S. Degree program while employed. Career Training — A Career Training Program emphasizes specific skill development and is designed to lead to licensure or certification. Upon completion of a required number of hours in a combination of classroom and lab instruction, a student is well prepared to enter the chosen career field.
