| Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements: |
| Bachelors degree with Registered Health Information Administration certification (RHIA) is required, with at least 3 years recent experience in health information management department in a healthcare facility. Current continuing education with American Health Information Management Association is desired.

| Courses to be taught:
Introduction to Health Information Management
Medical Terminology I and II
Healthcare Data Analysis
Quality Assessment
Legal Aspects of Health Information Management
Commuting to St. Lucie County and Martin County Campuses is required.

| Specific Duties and Responsibilities: |
| Specific duties and responsibilites include but are not limited to: the ability to commute between campuses; preparing course materials, and class lectures; maintaining student grade documentation; using Excel and Word software programs; working with students in groups and individually to assist in retention efforts, conveying appropriate course guidance to students as needed related to:
registration, policies and procedures, job opportunities, and accepting direction from the Health Information Management program director.

| Essential Physical Skills: |
| Essential physical skills include but are not limited to: the ability to transport books, lecture & class materials to classes; communicate effectively for student understanding, sitting, standing, bending & reaching, manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone and other office equipment, normal range of hearing and vision. IRCC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
