| Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements: |
| This position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in English, Communications, or Languages with experience in teaching English as a Second Language preferred. Other Bachelor's degrees considered with coursework and or extensive experience in multicultural education. This position prefers a minimum of two years experience with LEP (Limited English Proficient) students and an understanding of Adult Education or English as a Second Language. |

| This position requires good classroom management skills and excellent communication skills.

| Specific Duties and Responsibilities: |
| The general duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: classroom instruction of English as a Second Language to students with varying degrees of English language proficiency and literacy development; assisting students in language laboratory, including assisting students on computers; student registration; and testing. The specific responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: lesson planning and curriculum development; prompt submission of student class level promotions at the end of each term; maintaining and submitting accurate classroom and language laboratory attendance; student registration; and testing. |
