| Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements: |
| This position requires a Master's degree from an accredited institution in Deaf Education or Communication Disorders OR a Master's degree from an accredited institution with eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in Deaf Education or Communication Disorders. |
| Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: |
| Two to five years teaching experience in the community college or other post-secondary institution is recommended. The requirements for this position include, but are not limited to: the ability to communicate fluently and interpret competently using American Sign Language. |
| Specific Duties and Responsibilities: |
| The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: preparing a syllabus for the class; instructing the class; grading all quizzes, tests, and written assignments; assigning final grades; and personal delivery of the grades and grade justification sheets to the I.R.C.C. main campus. Adjunct instructors must attend one scheduled adjunct faculty meeting each academic year. |
