At Indian River State College, the School of Business Advisory Committee, consisting of business leaders, keeps the school current in the increasing needs of the business community. This allows Indian River State College to offer business courses that are relevant to the demands of the business community. The students are exposed to faculty with broad business experience, as well excellent academic credentials and achieve levels of accomplishment in business certification and undergraduate degrees. The programs emphasize decision-making, managing responsibilities, business communication, team building, and strategic plan development.
You can begin in specialized areas include accounting, marketing, insurance, real estate, customer service and more. Earn a Certificate in Entrepreneurship with 12 credits, Marketing Management with 24 credits, or Business Management with 24 credits through the Career Development Program at conveniently scheduled times for working individuals.
After completing the Associates Degree, move up to the next level with a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Management or the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. Through these degrees, you will further develop your skills in business and marketing to become an integral part of an existing business or create successful business ventures as an entrepreneur.
