The Key to Success — Look what we can do for you!

The Career Development Program is a unique and supportive approach to education and career development for both women and men. The program strives to assist students on the road to success whether they are just starting out in college or returning back after many years. Our aim is to help individuals by providing information on alternatives available to them at the college and in the community so that they can achieve their potential.

Since its inception as the Women's Program in 1979, the Career Development Program has been helping individuals. We have assisted many students in obtaining a wide range of certificates and degrees at the college. Our department has many programs that can lead you to success — success for life!

  • Professional Career Program  A program to introduce individuals with little or no college experience or those returning to college to a business program which will enhance their job skills and education for job satisfaction and advancement. Upon successful completion students earn a Technical Certificate in Business Management.
  • Displaced Homemaker Program The Displaced Homemaker Program provides an opportunity for women and men to become self-sufficient through short term education or training. Eligibility is based on Florida statue and available funding.
