Become a Dental Assistant

With this Associate in Science Degree, you’ll be prepared for a professional career as a dental assistant as well as related dental fields such as marketing, management, and education.

You’ll participate in classroom instruction, hands-on practice in IRSC’s fully functioning Dental Clinic, and real-world experiences in local dental offices.

You’ll work with the dentist to deliver dental services to patients, sterilize instruments and prepare materials for dental procedures. You’ll also learn to take radiographs and impressions, make temporary crowns, polish teeth, place sealants, and administer fluoride treatments.
