Theresa Errante-Parrino, Ed.D., C.M.A. (AAMA) — Assistant Professor

Theresa-ErranteDr. Theresa Errante-Parrino, Program Director of the Medical Assisting Program, received her master’s degree in Adult Education / Curriculum and Instruction and a doctoral degree in Educational Technologies from the University of Phoenix. Prior to working at IRSC, Dr. Errante-Parrino has over 16 years of experience in many areas of healthcare as a Certified Medical Assistant. The instructor has been recognized as Faculty of the Month and also won the Golden Apple Award for the Best Medical Assisting Instructor in the Nation from the American Association of Medical Assistants. In addition, she serves as the President for the Treasure Coast Chapter of Medical Assistants, serves on Florida Society of Medical Assistants as a Board Member, and is an active member of the American Association of Medical Assistants.
