A.A. Associate in Arts Degree

The A.A. Degree will prepare you for a Bachelor’s Degree program at IRSC or transfer to a university.  As an A.A. Degree student you will complete your freshman and sophomore years of study, which includes 36 credit hours of general education and 24 credit hours of electives. Upon completion of the degree you will be guaranteed transfer as a junior to a Florida university or can choose one of IRSC’s 21 Bachelor’s Degree programs.  Some Bachelor’s Degree programs require prerequisite coursework, minimum GPAs, and/or entrance exams.  Your advisor will provide you with personal attention, developing your Guided Pathway Plan to ensure that you complete the necessary courses for continued education to meet your career goals.
