This Associate in Arts Degree will give you a firm foundation for to university transfer and advanced degrees in chemistry. You will understand the scientific process, concepts and theories of chemistry; the techniques and tools of chemistry and employ analytic and problem-solving skills. Chemistry graduates can find employment in agriculture, biotechnology, medicine and the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries and develop a career in bioengineering, clinical laboratory technology, dentistry, education, medicine, physical therapy, optometry, pharmacy, plant pathology or veterinary medicine.
