You can prepare to be a chef through the A.S. Degree program in Culinary Management. You will actively participate in cooking labs to learn classical dishes along with new culinary techniques used in all of the premier restaurants. You will learn the art and science of producing quantity baked goods through baking and pastry courses. You’ll have the opportunity for presentations in real-world situations, including ice carving and buffet presentations.
If you are currently employed in a food service operation the two-year apprentice program may be for you. Apprentices earn the certifications necessary for promotions and better paying jobs. Classroom lessons are combined with kitchen lab experience to supplement learning nutrition, cost control and management policies in this Quick Job Training program.
