The Robotics and Photonics Institute will prepare you to install, troubleshoot and repair electronic systems employing these rapidly growing technologies. Photonics (light technology) now affects almost every industry. You will obtain the latest skills in lasers, fiber optics, and opto-electronics. You will also learn how to install, program and repair robots and automation systems. As a robotics technician you will find job opportunities in manufacturing industries like biomedical equipment, industrial machines, chemical analysis instrumentation, automated warehouses, distribution centers and many more. The job outlook for robotics and photonics technicians is very bright as more companies are re-shoring their operations to the continental United States.
