Law Enforcement

The two-year program provides you with the opportunity to earn an Associate in Science Degree in Criminal Justice Technology and complete the Law Enforcement Basic Recruit Academy at the same time. Students are challenged to function as team members and test their skills in real-world scenarios at the Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex, one of the nation’s top law enforcement training facilities.

Upon completion, you will be eligible for certification as a law enforcement professional in the State of Florida. This Selective Admissions program provides highly-trained, disciplined recruits ready for the workforce and career advancement.

Law Enforcement Basic Recruit Training is a 770-hour selective admission program preparing students as entry level law enforcement officer in Florida.

  • A.A. Degree — Complete your first two years of college at IRSC, and you’re guaranteed the right to transfer as a junior to a Bachelor’s program at a Florida state university — or continue to a Bachelor’s degree at IRSC.
  • A.S. Degree — Gain management and technical skills in many high-demand career fields, with the option to continue toward a Bachelor’s degree at IRSC.
