The Associate in Arts Degree provides the first two years of college prior to transfer to a university for continuing education to become a pharmacist.
The Quick Job Training will prepare you to assist pharmacists with technical tasks in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting. Employment of pharmacy technicians is expected to grow through 2018 due to the increase in pharmaceutical needs of a larger and aging population and to the greater use of medications from advances in science that make more medications available to treat more conditions.
- A.A. Degree — Complete your first two years of college at IRSC, and you’re guaranteed the right to transfer as a junior to a Bachelor’s program at a Florida state university — or continue to a Bachelor’s degree at IRSC.
