Diagnostic imaging is increasingly utilized in hospitals, imaging centers and physicians’ offices. As a result there is strong employment growth for radiographers. As a radiographer, you’ll be a valued member of the health care team, trained to provide x-ray images on patients to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
As a student in the accredited selective admissions Associate in Science Degree program, you’ll learn about radiographic procedures, pathology, patient care and radiographic physics. Then you’ll put what you’ve learned to work through real-world clinical experiences at a local hospital. Program graduates are eligible to sit for the national certifying examination.
