What defines "good art"? When is a white square not a white square? Is our personal identity defined by our self-conception or how others perceive us? Yazmina Reza's Tony award-winning comedy Art asks all these questions and more. Three best friends watch their relationship crumble when a questionable purchase of modern art turns into an act of rebellion. As the scathing insults fly, the absurd hilarity rises to the point where we don't know whether to laugh or cry at these 3 men trying to pick up the pieces of a friendship that perhaps was always just as empty as the white square canvas masquerading as Art.
