IRSC Event & Venue Management Information Sessions: High School Students & Graduates

IRSC is hosting information sessions at Mueller Campus for high school students and recent high school graduates. AAG Live will stage a live rock concert outside of the Richardson Center from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. to demonstrate the skills needed to make live entertainment and events a career. The demonstration will be followed by a question and answer session inside the Richardson Center auditorium.

Indian River State College (IRSC) has partnered with AAG Live—an internationally renowned, full-service production company made up of live event, broadcast and recording industry professionals—to offer a new Event & Venue Management Certification, part of the IRSC Associate Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management. The specialized curriculum—26 consecutive days of hands-on learning and classroom instruction—mirrors the intensity of a standard live event and entertainment schedule. Program completers earn 12 credits toward the IRSC A.S. Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management and 16 industry certifications.
