The School of Education at Indian River State College (IRSC) offers many opportunities for community members to become teachers, especially in the high-demand fields of math, science, ESE and bilingual education. Join us for a free information session Tuesday, November 5, to learn more about programs and degrees in the field of education.

The IRSC School of Education features Associate Degree and Bachelor’s Degree programs in early childhood, elementary, secondary and physical education with special emphasis on reading, mathematics, science, exceptional student education (ESE) and English to speakers of other languages (ESOL).

“The best aspects of IRSC are its multiple locations, online course availability, small class sizes, and professors who are dedicated to student success,” shares graduate Sara Hulings, first grade teacher, Fellemere Elementary. “IRSC prepared me for this career. I love working with children and making a difference in their lives.”

IRSC graduate Sara Hulings utilizes her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education as a first grade teacher at Fellsmere Elementary School.
