Albury and Tierney’s winning dish was "Shrimp Delight", a shrimp cake served with Sweet Chili Sauce, Lemon-Dijon Mustard and Citrus Slaw.

“The Chef Challenge provides the opportunity for the IRSC students to showcase their talents in a fun and friendly environment,” said Phillips. “In this fifth year, it is evident, with the attendance and enthusiasm of our guest judges, that this is an annual event which will continue for many years to come.  We are grateful for the relationship we have grown with IRSC, certainly a hidden gem in our community.”

Rehmann also presented a donation to the IRSC Foundation to benefit the culinary program at the college.

“We are very fortunate to have community partners like Rehmann and Quail Valley Golf & River Club. Above and beyond the scholarship money, the competition provides a challenging opportunity for all of our students to plan, practice, prepare, and execute their dishes.  It is an exceptional way to help build and reinforce necessary workplace skills that will be invaluable to them in their future careers as professionals in the Hospitality Industry.”
