IRSC Opens Spring 2021 Registration

October 26, 2020 Robert Lane

Registration for Spring 2021 at Indian River State College (IRSC) gets underway Tuesday, October 27. The new Spring term features a mix of in-person instruction; hybrid courses, which blend both face-to-face and online instruction; and a schedule of wholly online courses available through the IRSC Global Campus. Classes start January 6, and there is still time for new students to apply to the College.

Spring 2021 registration is now open

IRSC continues to offer students in-person and virtual services to help them enroll in class. Enrollment and Student Services staff are ready to assist new and returning students at all campuses in-person and through virtual appointments Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, visit https://www.irsc.edu/admissions/enrollment-services.html

The Academic Support Center offers enrolled students in-person tutoring in math, science, English and writing assistance at all campus locations. The ASC also offers virtual tutoring services; a full schedule is available at https://irsc-asc.weebly.com.

Again, for the Spring semester, individuals affected by the economic impact of the Coronavirus can find new opportunities with IRSC Rapid Credentialing, which covers eligible students' costs for program fees and books. This initiative connects unemployed, furloughed and underemployed individuals with short-term, in-demand, workforce/career and technical education credentialing and certificate programs to help them find employment quickly. Students earn their credentials fast—typically within months—and have access to IRSC Career and Transfer Services for assistance with their job search.

Current students can register for classes online through MyPioneerPortal. New students, should apply to IRSC at www.irsc.edu. Virtual information Sessions are offered to help apply to IRSC; understand residency, financial aid—91% of IRSC students graduate debt free—and transfer services; connect with an advisor and more. Sessions are also available for those interested in enrolling in IRSC Bachelor’s Degree programs and for prospective Dual Enrollment Students. View the full schedule of Information Sessions at https://www.irsc.edu/admissions/enrollment-services.html.
