IRSC Hosts Lincoln Park Career Pathways Health and Job Fair June 7

Indian River State College (IRSC) welcomes the community to the “Lincoln Park Career Pathways Health and Job Fair” on Friday, June 7, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.—a family-friendly, community block party featuring food trucks, music, free giveaways, door prizes, and much more. Valuable information on job opportunities, available career pathway classes, and free health screenings will also be available.

Those who attend can learn about the next classes offered through the Lincoln Park Career Pathways Initiative and how to sign up for one of three highly sought-after industry certifications offered tuition-free at the IRSC Blackburn Educational Center on Avenue D: Fast Track to Manufacturing/Certified Production Technician (CPT), Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Each of these growing and expanding fields offer students an opportunity for a lifelong career.

The Blackburn Educational Building is an IRSC facility that helps support the revitalization of Fort Pierce. The Blackburn serves as the learning hub of the R. “Duke” Nelson Human Development & Resources Center located at 3002 Avenue D. It is a community resource that provides needed training for more rewarding careers, good pay, and brighter futures.
