Palm City resident John Crowe is the Indian River State College May 2021 Staff Employee of the Month. John joined the IRSC family in in October 2016 as the Alumni Development Coordinator part-time prior to the position becoming full-time in July 2017.
John is very familiar with the high-priority objectives that both the Foundation office and the College at large must achieve, and he works hard each day to make them happen. John demonstrates a top-notch ability to organize and manage both small and large projects and groups. He is a leader individually and within any team or group—demonstrated by both word and example. John also has exemplary customer service skills and is known as one of the friendliest people on campus, arriving each day with a smile on his face and a positive attitude to share students, alumni and co-workers alike. John’s willingness to assist others and his commitment to excellence is unequaled.
John’s co-workers are the first to share how much he contributes to the Foundation team and to IRSC. One staff member shares, “John does everything with a great attitude while handling all his regular responsibilities. He has been a wonderful asset to the Foundation and transformed our process for events.” They continue, “John deserves to be honored for all the work he does for IRSC.” Another adds. “John goes above and beyond for the greater good of the College and it’s mission.” Finally, another co-worker shares, “John is the type of co-worker everyone dreams of, He shows up with a smile on his face and a cand-do attitude. We are so appreciative of all he does!”
